Step 2. Review the Required Documents.

To apply to one of our academic programs you must send the following documents to Metropolitan International University

  • To complete “Online Registration Form“.
  • Curriculum Summary of a page maximum.
  • Identification photo (Copy of an official identification).
  • The official qualifications obtained from the universities or university institutes that you attended previously.
  • Copy of diploma (s) or degree (s), university (s).
  • Pay the Admission Fee of $ 50.00 (non-refundable).

I. To Complete a Bachelor:

Metropolitan International University offers a Bachelor’s Degree completion program and requires applicants to possess the following:

      

  • An Associated Degree degree with a cumulative GPA greater than 2.00 (“C”) from an accredited institution, or its equivalent abroad. This is a University Technician degree of at least two years or equivalent.
  •   

  • Copy of the Qualifications obtained in the previous studies which must be received by MIU at the time of application.
  •   

  • At least 30 credit hours must be taken in MIU.
II. To Study a Master’s Degree:

For admission to the MIU Masters requires that the applicant have:

      

  • Four years of undergraduate studies in the United States, or an equivalent degree studied abroad from an accredited university institution.
  •   

  • An average of undergraduate qualifications (GPA) of 2.5 (“C +”), from an accredited university institution or its equivalent abroad.
  •   

  • The official notes showing the undergraduate studies must be received by the university at the time of registration.

Step 6. Once you are admitted

Once Admitted

Once you have been accepted to MIU, you will receive a communication from the Admissions Director with the Letter of Acceptance, your approved Curriculum and the steps to begin. The first thing to do as a student is to proceed to enroll for the first courses of your curriculum. For that, enter the Student Portal MyMIU and formalize your registration of your first courses for your first Academic Term.

We recommend talking with your Academic Advisor who will guide you in courses to enroll and guide you through the process. Prepare your tuition payment for the term as you must cancel it within the registration process.

Step 8. Attend Online Orientation Week

Attend Orientation for New Students.

Next and before starting your academic courses you must complete the Orientation Program for new students.

Here you will get information about the university’s policies and regulations, learn how to navigate the MIU online courses and learn about the resources available to you for this new MIU online student experience.

These activities are mandatory and in the academic calendar of each term these are the dates for their realization.

Once you have completed the above steps, you are ready to begin. From your first day of school, you will experience quality courses regardless of the program you choose.
