How to apply

 

At MIU, we are committed to your success. Read the following steps to familiarize yourself with the Admission Process and become a student and then a graduate.

Step I

Select your Program to Study

Our Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs are conducted entirely online. In MIU we are sure to have the program that will help you achieve your personal and professional goals and thus acquire the knowledge necessary to succeed in today’s competitive world. We invite you to explore our options.

Step II

Talk to an admission counselor

The first thing to do is to arrange a meeting with an Admission Counselor. To do this, click on the link below and on the page that appears, select the program to study from the drop-down list, and follow the instructions indicated there, to schedule the date and time of the meeting. An admission counselor will contact you by email confirming the meeting. Take this opportunity to ask questions about the admission and enrollment process or simply to get more information about our academic programs, admission requirements and start dates.

Step III

Review the Admission Requirements

While waiting for the interview with the Admissions Advisor, take some time and review the admission requirements for the program you wish to pursue. If you have any questions, write it down to clarify it in the interview. Step IV

Fill out the Online Admission application

If you have completed the interview or if you are ready to become a student, please begin by completing the Online Admission Application and submitting the required documents to MIU for the selected academic program. If you need guidance through the admission application process, call us or use the Live Chat to contact us. We are here to help you.

Step V

Register your courses and pay your tuition

Once you have been accepted to MIU, you will receive a communication from the Admissions Director with the Acceptance Letter, your approved Curriculum and the steps to begin. The first thing to do as a student is to proceed to enroll for the first courses of your curriculum. For that, enter the MyMIU Student Portal and formalize your registration of your first courses for your first Academic Term. We recommend talking with your Academic Advisor who will guide you in courses to enroll and guide you through the process. Prepare your tuition payment for the term as you must cancel it within the registration process. Call us if you have any questions or would like more information about our payment options. Step VI

Attend Orientation for New Students.

Then and before starting your academic courses you must complete the Orientation Program for new students. Here you will get information about the university’s policies and regulations, learn how to navigate in the MIU online courses and learn about the resources available to you for this new MIU online student experience. These activities are mandatory and in the academic calendar of each term these are the dates for their realization.

Step VII

Start your Regular Courses.

Once you have completed the above steps, you are ready to begin. From your first day of school, you will experience quality courses regardless of the program you choose. MIU is committed to offering you the latest technology in online education so you can have a rewarding and successful learning experience. You can use the various student resources available. The Academic Advisor, the Technical Support Center, the free online consultation service with Tutors, digital libraries and many other supports.
